FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: method for measuring the line resistance suggests connection with the actuator via the control lines of the control device . In the device operation, the control unit supplies the actuator by the control voltage. To determine the line resistance, the voltage power supply is performed in the time range of measuring through the energy storage built into the control module, and the power supply back to the control device. Herewith the switching device shuts off the power of the actuator by the control device. The measured values of the voltage are digitized, stored in memory and used to calculate the resistance values. After determining the resistance value, the type of fault is determined and an alarm signal is issued. The control device comprises a DC output connected via the microcontroller or a connected load resistance and a switching device. The beginning of the control lines is placed on the control device. Herewith, the energy storage is connected to the voltage regulator, and the energy storage is designed in the form of a capacitor or a battery.
