FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises alternate lighting the receiveng lidar channel by the external radiation source at different wavelengths. Lighting is carried out by the multi-spectral high-monochromatic laser radiation at the discrete wavelengths ranging from the UV to the IR spectrum area, which is formed in the tunable titanium-sapphire laser. The illumination intensity change of the receiving channel in the dynamic range of 1012 is carried out by using a multi-stage optical attenuator installed at the outlet of the external radiation source.
EFFECT: providing the calibration capabilities of different types of lidars with a single radiation source.
