FIELD: lighting.
SUBSTANCE: device includes a connector that provides connectivity to a solid-state light source with a lamp socket configured to accommodate a light source having a filament, and an adapter circuit coupled in parallel with at least one solid-state light source, when the solid-state light source is connected to the socket through the connector. Adapter circuit provides a resistive path for passage of a current through the lamp during the whole or a part of AC cycle of the main supply.
EFFECT: device invented to suppress flicker of solid-state light source and increase compatibility of lamp comprising at least one solid state light source.
