SUBSTANCE: invention relates to network communication technologies, and in particular to online presentation and broadcasting. The universal tool for synchronizing information about the user view of a document or other content in the application among client's own applications and web applications is proposed. Online broadcast participants are allowed to see what the presenter sees in his/her own application. In addition, the information specific for meetings, such as meeting time and notes, can be synchronized, providing the synchronization in almost real time mode. By means of allowing the participants to view the presented document in their own applications, the participants are provided with possibilities ensured by this application, such as manual navigation through the document.

EFFECT: invention provides synchronizing information about a user view of a document or other content in the application, using client's own applications and web applications, what allows the online broadcast participants to see what the presenter sees in his/her own application.
