FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method for synthesizing a spatial mechanism definite structure with desired characteristics by kinematic units and possible movements in the kinematic pairs is to find the position of the links at which the kinematic chain enters the closed state. The function of the position of the mechanism is determined, the position function for possible motions in kinematic pairs with constant kinematic characteristics of the links is varied. In this case, the algebraic system of equations for the variations is determined. A determination is then necessary to limit the kinematic characteristics of the links by equating the determinant to zero system matrix equations for the variations. Further, the kinematic characteristics of the links are refined taking into account certain limitations, carrying out the synthesis of the spatial mechanism.
