FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method consists in artificially reducing the length of daylight hours for a certain time by means of tying 5-6 of the top leaves above the growth point. For Jerusalem artichoke plants of Interest sort, the artificial reduction of the daylight hours length in the Nonchernozem zone is carried out from 17 o'clock in the evening to 7 o'clock in the morning for 10 days, starting from the 20-day age of plants. For the plants of the Jerusalem artichoke of the Skorospelka sort - from 17 o'clock in the evening to 7 o'clock in the morning for 30 days, starting from the 10-day age of the plants.
EFFECT: method allows to increase the productivity of Jerusalem artichoke in the Nonchernozem zone.
