FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: wireless device for conjunctival microscopy comprises a system of controlling, recording and analysing the obtained images, realized on the basis of a computer, and an optical system including a video camera and an image transferring unit. Herewith the system of controlling, recording and analysing the obtained images comprises a wireless communication unit connected with the wireless communication unit of the optical system. The image transferring unit comprises an apochromatic lens unit as a bi-glued component structurally formed of two lenses: a biconcave lens made of the crown-like polymethyl methacrylate material, and a biconvex lens made of the lead-like polycarbonate optical material. The bi-glued component is provided with a colour filter having spectral characteristics in the range of 600-1500 nm. Lighting is rigidly fixed on the video camera body with two pairs of LEDs at the angle of 20-36° to the longitudinal device axis, each pair of which operates at a single wavelength. The first pair radiation corresponds to the oxyhemoglobin absorbing spectrum, and the second pair radiation corresponds to the oxy-, carboxyhemoglobin absorbing spectrum. Herewith infra red and red LEDs are used.
