SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radar. The radar comprises series-connected antenna, antenna switch, high frequency amplifier and first mixer, an intermediate frequency amplifier, a compression filter, as well as series-connected synchroniser, delay line, composite probing signal former, second mixer and power amplifier, the output of which is connected to the second input of the antenna switch, a coherent heterodyne, the output of which is connected to the input of the composite probing signal former, a local heterodyne, the first output of which is connected to the second input of the first mixer and a display, the first input of which is connected to the output of the synchroniser. The radar also includes a moving target selecting unit, the first and second inputs of which are connected to the output of the compression filter and the output of the coherent heterodyne, respectively, series-connected switch, the input of which is connected to the second input of the local heterodyne, filter and rectifier, the output of which is connected to the second input of the second mixer, and an integrator, the input of which is connected to the output of the synchroniser, and the output is connected to the control input of the switch.
EFFECT: broader functional capabilities of the radar, high stability of operation while maintaining the range of measured distances.
