SUBSTANCE: invention is related to power output device, car comprising power output device, and module and method of control for power output device. If there are no failures in unit (36) for definition of master shaft rpm and unit (44) for definition of rotary shaft rpm, they control internal combustion engine (22), device (30, MG1) of power division, electric motor (MG2) and switching unit (60). At the same time they change ratio of speeds in switching unit (60), and intermittent operation of internal combustion engine (22) is carried out, as a result of which capacity of drive required for a master drive (32a), is brought to shaft (32a). When there is a failure in unit (36) for detection of master shaft rpm and/or in unit (44) for detection of rotary shaft rpm, control is carried out, by means of which drive capacity is brought to a master shaft (32a).

EFFECT: invention prevents wear of gear box elements.
