FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: to restore motor-evacuation function of the gastrointestinal tract, intraoperative installation of electrodes in the abdominal cavity, their ends output through the abdominal wall and connection to an electrical stimulating machine are performed. The electrodes are mounted on the intestinal serosa, wherein one of the electrodes is mounted on the duodenum, the second - on the small intestine, the third and the fourth - on the distal ileum. Then intestinal electrical stimulation is performed by electrodes activation in series consisting of three3 minute sessions at intervals of 2-3 minutes until an active intestinal peristaltic wave appears. For electrical stimulation, ring pulse transmission mode is applied with a frequency of 150 Hz, 50% cycle modulation factor, amperage of 20 mA, with a pulse burst duration of 16 s at a pulse train duration of 4 s.
EFFECT: method improves the efficiency of direct electrical stimulation of the gastrointestinal tract by increasing the number of electrode application points to ensure consistent inclusion of key pacemaker areas localized in the duodenum, small intestine and ileum while reducing electrode application trauma.
