FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method for the identification of microalgae. The method comprises exposing by laser induced fluorescence of the sample to the sample medium to be analyzed in a heat chamber and then measuring the fluorescent emission spectrum with changing temperature in the range of 5-80°C. The measured temperature dependence of the fluorescence spectra of pigments microalga cells in this temperature range is compared with the respective dependencies of microalgae known to determine the type and algae.

EFFECT: microalgae method provides identification of the ability to automate the measuring process.
