SUBSTANCE: fiber-optic connector assembly includes a fiber-optic connector including a connector main body and a rear insert, that is mounted inside the rear end to seal the cable of the connector main body. The fiber-optic connector assembly has a fiber-optic cable, which includes an optical fiber, a support layer and an outer shell. The optical fiber has a terminal section without a hub available at the front connection end of the connector main body. The first form restoring sleeve attaches the optical fiber to the substrate, which is mounted inside the rear insert. There is an axial clearance between the front end of the outer shell and the rear end of the rear insert. The second form restoring sleeve attaches the outer shell to the rear insert. The axial clearance is, at least, partially filled with an adhesive material.

EFFECT: providing the effective attachment or embedding of the fiber-optic cables to the fiber-optic connectors with low operating costs.
