FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: suction scraper consists of a bridge of at least one outlet tray, a central support, a system of suckers installed inside the tank which is formed with the board and bottom of the clarifier. Some of the suckers with scraper blades are located behind the other suckers with scraper blades at a distance above the bottom of the clarifier, which differs from the distance at which the preceding suckers with scraper blades are located above the clarifier bottom.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of the suction scraper by adjusting the cross-sectional area of the outlet of each sucker and incorporating additional rows of suckers in case of a thicker layer of sludge exceeding the capacity of operating rows of suckers.
