FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a position control system for stands and test tubes for clinical chemistry laboratories. The system for controlling the position of stands and test tubes for clinical chemistry laboratories includes test tubes (10) capable of containing human biological materials. The system also includes a stand (20) configured to receive and/or retain test tubes (10) and a support base (30) configured to locate the stand (20). The system also includes a reader (50) configured to read an identifier (RID) of the stand (20) to be located on the support base (30), and an identifier (TID) of the test tube (10) to be installed in the stand (20). Furthermore, the system comprises a chamber (40) for detecting the stand (20) on the support base (30) and at least one test tube (10) in the stand (20) and a processing unit (60) for associating the detected stand (20) with a plurality of permitted positions (Pi) and the detected test tube (10) with the position (P) of the said plurality of permitted positions (Pi).

EFFECT: invention provides simplicity of design, flexibility of control of test tubes and/or stands, possible use of any stands, as well as low cost.
