FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the preparation of a complex antioxidant for rubbers, which provides the latter with high physical and mechanical properties and their preservation during thermal oxidative aging. The invention can be used in the rubber industry to provide thermal and oxidative resistance to rubbers for a long time of their operation. Complex antioxidant for rubbers contains ε-caprolactam, salicylic acid, zinc oxide, 2,2-methylenebis (4-methyl-6-t-butylphenol).
EFFECT: increase of its activating influence on the rubber vulcanization process of rubber compounds and increase of vulcanizate resistance to thermal and oxidative aging while maintaining high physical and mechanical properties.
