FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: electrode is inserted along the lower-outer sector of the orbit until it approaches the optic nerve without contact with its membranes, but no further than 10 mm from it. The second electrode is injected subcutaneously into the temporal region into the trigeminal zone. The electrodes are connected to an electric pulses generator designed to remotely change the electrical stimulation parameters. The parameters of the effect are performed by the doctor or patient based on the individual tolerance, absence of pain syndrome and/or the need to combine the treatment process with motor activity and visual loads. Exposure is effected by bipolar impulse current, continuously for 24 hours for at least 7 days.
EFFECT: method allows to increase the effectiveness of treatment and at the same time to reduce complications, which is achieved due to electrodes location and the mode of stimulation.
