FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: inhibitor contains the reaction product of polyethylene polyamine with polybenzyl chloride, obtained at a temperature of 80-85°C in an alcoholic medium for 3-5 hours at a molar ratio of polyethylene polyamine to polybenzyl chloride equal to 1:(1.5-2), respectively. Moreover, as polybenzyl chloride, mentioned product contains polybenzyl chloride with a degree of polybenzylation, in which the refractive index of polybenzyl chloride is in the range of 1.545 to 1.555. In a second variant, the inhibitor additionally to the reaction product of polyethylene polyamine with polybenzyl chloride contains propargyl alcohol or its derivatives and a low molecular weight aldehyde as formaldehyde or furfural or acetaldehyde at a weight ratio of the reaction product of polyethylene polyamine to polybenzyl chloride, mentioned alcohol and mentioned aldehyde equal to (3.5- 4.5):(0.5-1.5):(8-12) respectively.
EFFECT: providing high inhibitory protective properties, including at elevated temperatures and at high concentrations of hydrochloric acid, as well as the complete solubility of the inhibitor in hydrochloric acid, including highly concentrated, without the formation of turbidity, precipitation and layers.
