SUBSTANCE: in the method in each of the N≥1 channels of the transmission system over the fiber-optic communication lines, an external modulation of the laser module radiation is carried out, which is transmitted through the input single-mode fiber, using an electro-optical intensity modulator in accordance with the Mach-Zehnder interferometer scheme, in each of the N channels of the transmission system, the modulator operating point is output by feeding DC voltage to the electrodes of the modulator shift from the power source to supply DC voltage to the electrodes of the modulator shift, then the transmission function and the operating point of each modulator are accurately determined just before feeding to the electrical signal input of each modulator of the transmitted information electric signal, and then while processing the optical signal, the transmission function and the operating point of each modulator are determined, then according to the known change of the optical signal at the output of each modulator caused by the arrival of the transmitted information electrical signal and the previously obtained transmission function of each modulator, the form of the transmitted information electrical signal is recovered.

EFFECT: increasing the accuracy of the electrical signal form recovery by the registered analog signal transmitted over fiber-optic lines with external modulation.
