FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: device for transmitting an analogue electrical signal by a FOCL contains N≥1 channels. Each channel consists of a laser module, an input fiber, an output fiber, an electro-optical intensity modulator according to the Mach-Zehnder interferometer scheme, a power source for a modulator, an optical radiation receiver, and a digitizer. In each of the N channels of the transmission device, there are a modulator, a high-frequency adder of electrical signals, and a source of high-frequency electric signals. The adder is connected to said source and the electric pulse generator.

EFFECT: ensuring the possibility of accurately recovering the shape of the electrical signal from the registered optical analogue transmitted by the FOCL with external modulation, without performing adjustment procedures and periodic monitoring of the operating point of the modulator, and therefore without controllers of the operating point and without the need to supply constant optical radiation to the modulator input.
