A hydraulic model of the water supply system is created, including a pump, a system of pipelines supplying water to the pump inlet, and a system of pipelines connected to the pump outlet and supplying water to the distribution network, a hydraulic simulation of the water supply system is performed, the required value of the minimum water head is determined at the pump outlet under a condition ensuring the required minimum pressure for all consumers, the maintenance costs of the water supply system are determined for the life cycle. Zones with the required minimum head are isolated in the distribution network. The required value of the minimum water head is reduced at the pump outlet from the condition of ensuring the required minimum head of the zone consumers and the maintenance costs of the water supply system are determined for the life cycle. The step of reducing the required minimum water head is repeated at the pump outlet from the conditions of ensuring the required minimum head of the zone consumers and the maintenance costs of the water supply system are determined for the life cycle. The required value of the minimum water head is determined at the pump outlet, provided that the minimum head at the zone inlet is ensured, and the maintenance costs of the water supply system are determined for the life cycle. A set of pairs of the maintenance cost values of the water supply system is formed for the life cycle and the corresponding arguments - the required values of the minimum water head at the pump outlet, the set of the additional pairs of the electricity cost values and the corresponding arguments - the required values of the minimum water head at the pump outlet. And the set value of the minimum water head is determined at the pump outlet.
EFFECT: reducing the power consumption and maintenance costs for the life cycle.
