FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: moessbauer spectrometer with the registration of the conversion electrons includes a vacuum cryogenic chamber, a sample holder with a copper cooling block, a conversion electron detector disposed on the sample scattering surface, a Moessbauer gamma radiation source mounted outside the chamber and connected with the sample via the windows transparent to gamma radiation, a cryogenic system with means of pumping helium into the chamber, means of registering the detector signals and the Moessbauer spectra. The detector is in the form of, at least, one thin-filmed structure comprising a superconducting tunnel junction operating in the quasiparticle mode, comprises means for applying a magnetic field in the tunnel junction plane, and means for selecting the operating point on the current-voltage characteristic, wherein the detector is mounted on the copper cooling block with the direct proximity to the sample holder.

EFFECT: increasing the spectrometer resolution and the signal-to-noise ratio for the conversion electrons with the possibility of measuring at low, including sub-helium, temperatures and without the use of high voltage and high vacuum.
