FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: mechanical mini-extruder is designed for automated extrusion process of low molecular weight or high molecular weight compounds having a liquid crystalline or partly crystalline structure. Mini-extruder is a frame construction with a stepper motor fixed on it, helical gear, band heater, fixed around a cylindrical heat-conducting furnace with a high heat capacity, in the active region is fixed core extrusion piston mechanism mini-extruder and a thermocouple. This device has a control system and maintain a constant temperature of the extrusion process, and monitoring and adjusting the extrusion rate constant. The design of anchorages located on the installation frame allows to place it under the different slopes on different types of surface.
EFFECT: possibility of obtaining high-quality fiber, characterized by a homogeneous structure and a constant diameter along the length of the fiber.
