FIELD: food-processing industry.
SUBSTANCE: extrusion head for producing of expanded cereal food has feeding ring opened into cylindrical distributing chamber, which is communicating with tier or tiers of parallel extrusion pipes arranged in front wall. Extrusion head comprises cylindrical distributing chamber axially extending from ring center and arranged in spaced relation with respect to tier of pipes. Expanded cereal food is produced by extrusion pressing through extrusion head of basic material, said expanded cereal food being produced in the form of mass of combs contacting with one another.
EFFECT: simplified construction of extrusion head and improved quality of expanded cereal food.
