FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of 3D articles by digital 3D model by layer-by-layer printing of fused polymer filament (FDM), specifically to improved print head of 3d printer. Extruder is characterized by that the extruder module is fixed on the plate of movement along the X axis by means of linear bearing support bearings by bolt joints. Between the cooling radiator and the linear bearing support bearing there are compensation springs. In the heating unit between heating elements of cylindrical shape there is a threaded hole for attachment of thermal barrier and nozzle, with internal stepped structure.
EFFECT: invention provides high quality of the outer surface of 3D model, and also significantly reduces the printing time until the finished article is obtained, which is provided by the system of mechanical height variation, thus, elimination of nozzle height calibration manually, since in this case height calibration is performed by means of mechanical spring drive.
