SUBSTANCE: disclosed is an herbicide resistance protein production method involving obtaining and culturing cells of a transgenic host organism containing an herbicide resistance gene with the nucleotide sequence SEQ ID NO: 1, or an expression cassette containing a regulatory sequence and said herbicide resistance gene, and recovering said herbicide resistance protein. Disclosed is a method of extending the desired spectrum of herbicides, involving combined expression in a plant of resistance to herbicide resistance with sequence SEQ ID NO: 2, with at least a second nucleotide sequence encoding a protein different from said herbicide resistance protein, wherein said second nucleotide sequence codes a glyphosate resistance protein, an ammonium glufosinate protein, dioxygenase of 4-hydroxyphenylpyruvic acid, acetolactate synthase, a cytochrome protein or protoporphyrinogenoxydase. Disclosed is a method of selecting transformed plant cells using a nucleotide sequence which codes an herbicide resistance protein with the sequence SEQ ID NO: 2. Disclosed is a method for controlling weeds, comprising a step of adding an effective amount of one or more herbicides to a field on which plants are grown containing a nucleotide sequence which codes an herbicide resistance protein with the sequence SEQ ID NO: 2, where the herbicide is phenoxy-auxin. Disclosed is a method of protecting plants from damage caused by herbicides by introducing into plants a nucleotide sequence which codes protein resistance to herbicides with sequence SEQ ID NO: 2, where the herbicide is phenoxy-auxin. Disclosed is a method of monitoring glyphosate-resistant weeds on a field on which glyphosate-resistant plants are grown by adding an effective amount of one or more herbicides to said field, wherein said glyphosate-resistant plants contain a nucleotide sequence which codes a herbicide resistance protein with the sequence SEQ ID NO: 2. Disclosed is a method of endowing herbicide resistance 2,4-D (2,4-dichlorphenoxyacetic acid) with crops by introducing into the specified crops a nucleotide sequence coding protein resistance to herbicides with sequence SEQ ID NO: 2. Disclosed is use of herbicide resistance protein with sequence SEQ ID NO: 2, which provides resistance to phenoxy-auxin herbicides, for protecting plants from damage caused by phenoxy-auxin herbicides.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides resistance of plants to a wide range of herbicides, especially to phenoxy-auxin herbicides.
