SUBSTANCE: system for generating a report in a spreadsheet includes the CPU and memory encoding the instructions which, when executed by the CPU, cause said central processing unit to create a data source module programmed for identifying the table associated with the spreadsheet; the relationships module programmed for analyzing tables and identifying the related tables having the non-predetermined relationship, wherein the relationships module sets the relationships between the related tables. The relationships module is programmed for using the heuristics to identify and automatically configure the relationships; and the display module is programmed to display the relationships between the tables.
EFFECT: effective creation of the report in a spreadsheet.
