SUBSTANCE: method, device and terminal equipment for processing a gesture-based communication session are proposed. The method includes: detecting gesture manipulation in the current session interface; when gesture manipulation is detected in a particular session in the current session interface, recognition of gesture manipulation; and performing appropriate processing for the communication session in the current session interface according to the recognized gesture manipulation. When the secondary option is opened, the communication session in its own interface area is moved to the left, right, up and down, and the secondary option is displayed in the area, in which the session passed.

EFFECT: decreasing the number of steps used to configure the operation of a particular communication session.
