FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: spindle unit is designed to install into the internal tapered bore of the tool holder, and includes a shaft, having the possibility to rotate inside the tool holder, the bearing unit, containing a bearing unit of the front end and the bearing unitof the rear end for radial and axial support of the rotating shaft inside the tool holder, and to ensure the high speed rotation of the shaft, the turbine, functionally connected to the rotating shaft for rotation of this rotating shaft, the plurality of passes to provide the possibility of high pressure cooling fluid flow from the tool holder for driving the turbine in motion. Wherein at least one bearing of the bearing unit is located in that part of the spindle unit, which is adapted for its being located in the space, defined by the tapered bore of the tool holder and the front clamping nut.
