FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: device for hulling contains a feeding hopper with a loading branch pipe, a fan with blades, a mesh working element in the form of a truncated pyramid, a precipitator, the inlet branch of which is tangential to its surface, a working plate with the spherical surface, and a helical surface installed inside the precipitator. The diameter of the helical surface is less than the precipitator diameter by 5…10 mm, the helical surface pitch - 100…200 mm, and the rotation speed - 50…100 min-1. While interacting with the rotating helical surface, grain receives additional exposure to frictional forces that allows to completely remove the fruit shell, whose integrity has been damaged when hitting the working plate with the spherical surface. The helical surface rotation is carried out in the direction opposite to the grain movement. The intensity of the helical surface impact on the grain can be adjusted by changing its pitch and speed.
EFFECT: use of the invention will allow to increase the hulling efficiency.
