FIELD: food-processing and grain processing industry.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus has feeding hopper with charging branch pipe, fan with blades, shelling chamber with replaceable helical working surfaces made from resilient material, pneumatic separator with elbows for separating grain by fractions, and centrifugal settler. Modulus of longitudinal replaceable helical working surfaces is (5-8)x10⁶ n/m². Coil pitch is 0.2-0.25. Plate is arranged at exit end of horizontal pressure branch pipe in inclined position, with inclination angle being regulated. Plate is manufactured from similar resilient material with modulus equal to that of material of helical surface. Plate is positioned at an angle of 40-50 deg relative to side surface of pressure branch pipe.

EFFECT: improved quality of shelling grain of different groats crops.
