METHOD OF RADIO SIGNAL IMITATION Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC G01S7/40

Abstract RU 2621329 C1

FIELD: radio engineering, communication.

SUBSTANCE: result is achieved by providing imitation in real time of the signal reflected from spatially-distributed radiophysical scene, which is represented by fragments of the earth's surface with different roughness degree, and coordinates and motion parameters of electronic system carrier are set, boundaries of interaction area of radio emission with the area of the scattering surface are defined, the surface is approximated by basic platforms-facets, characteristic size, the parameters of roughness and electrical properties of which are determined on the basis of required accuracy of radiosignal synthesis and properties of the faceted polygon model, consisting of terrain layers, natural covers and artificial objects, and then the facets are chosen, simultaneously visible from the position of radiotechnical system antenna, wherein the antenna pattern of the radio system is in the form of a ray set inside space whose volume is determined by the form of the main and side lobes of antenna pattern; antenna pattern is divided into rays with the even pitch in angular deviations from the central ray, coinciding with the direction of antenna pattern axis, the amplitude of each ray is determined by the coefficient of antenna directivity pattern in a given direction, the number of rays is determined based on the required accuracy of radiosignal synthesis, each ray of ray set of antenna directivity pattern is put in corresponding elementary area on the facets of the faceted polygon model, with the subsequent calculation of ray incidence angle and effective specific scattering surface for each elementary area, and, to find the vector sum of complex dispersion coefficients, complex dispersion coefficients are calculated, in accordance with that selected and ranked in ascending order of quantized propagation delays of their partial signals elementary areas are sorted in groups of simultaneously irradiated elementary areas for each of formed group of elementary areas with consideration of delays of the partial signals, the Doppler frequency offsets, attenuations, forms of main and side lobes of antenna pattern.

EFFECT: Improve accuracy of imitation.
