FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: nose wing deformation is eliminated by cutting out a triangular skin flap in the arch area of the deformed nose wing. The triangular skin flap is rotated into the lumen of the nasal passage. At that, a line corresponding the nose wing edge line in the arch area on the healthy side is marked in the arch area of the nose wing on the side of the cleft, above the nose wing edge. A "crescent" fragment is obtained, limited by the plotted line from the top, and the nose wing edge in the arch area. 5-8 triangles with bases facing upwards are cut out in this fragment. Skin together with the mucous membrane is cut by through cuts between the triangles. In the obtained triangles, the skin is peeled from the mucosa, the mucous triangular flaps are shifted laterally to the half of the formed skin triangular flaps. Then the skin triangle flaps are rotated into the lumen of the nasal passage, forming a line of their bending along the marked line of the nose wing edge and placing their apexes between the bases of the mucous triangular flaps. Mucous and skin triangular flaps are fixed to each other, forming a "lightning" type suture line.
EFFECT: method allows to increase the aesthetic result, which consists in increasing the symmetry of the cartilaginous part of the nose by eliminating the overhanging skin fold in the arch area of the nose wing, as well as the functional result due to nasal breathing improvement.
