SUBSTANCE: method for increasing the speed of the electric wind, which consists in applying a DC voltage to electrodes arranged in rows parallel to the gas flow, thus in series with the DC voltage applied pulse voltage, the pulse frequency selected from the range of 0 to 30 kHz and the pulse duration is chosen considerably smaller than the pulse repetition period. Device for increasing the speed of the ion wind, characterized in that the constant voltage source through a current limiting element connected to the electrodes, and parallel to the electrodes, after the current limiting element connected across the capacitor of high voltage pulse generator.

EFFECT: increased electric wind speed and increased efficiency.
