FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to systems for purifying air from dust, bacterial, and chemical contamination, namely, to the structure of a power supply system. When implementing the method, with the combined supply of direct current and pulse voltage, a load in the form of a system of electrodes is connected in parallel with the rectifying diode and the filter capacitor connected in series with the secondary winding of the transformer, the capacitance of the capacitor is calculated by the formula. The time interval wherein the diode is open is selected as less than the pulse repetition period, and the polarity of the voltage on the load is set by the direction of activation of the diode.
EFFECT: dimensions and weight of the apparatus are reduced, the configuration is simplified.
