SUBSTANCE: method and device for increasing the speed of electric wind refer to the field of creating gas flows and can be used in purging systems, ventilation systems, systems of air cleaning from dust, bacterial and chemical pollution in industrial premises, as well as in air ozonation systems. Method for increasing the speed of electric wind is to apply a high voltage to the corona and precipitating electrodes, arranged in rows parallel to the gas flow. Ions, after the precipitating electrodes, are directed to the accelerator space, which is located behind the precipitating electrodes. For this, additional electrodes are installed after the precipitating electrodes, which are located opposite the precipitating electrodes, in parallel with them, while they are supplied with a voltage that is accelerating for the ions.

EFFECT: method and device can be used in purging systems, ventilation systems, systems of air cleaning from dust, bacterial and chemical pollution in industrial premises, as well as in air ozonation systems.
