FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of technology that provides exposure to the atmosphere in order to disperse fog on a controlled area of land, and can be used to improve navigation conditions on airfields, highways, seaports, etc. Device contains grounded electrically conductive rods (3) fixed with a certain pitch on frame (2). In the gaps between rods (3) and with a gap relative to their surfaces, discharge electrodes (5) electrically connected to main high-voltage DC power supply (8) are installed. Device is equipped with electrically isolated (6) and with a gap relative to the surfaces of rods (3) on the side of frame opposite to discharge electrodes (5) of frame (3) with additional electrodes (7). Electrodes (7) are electrically connected to additional source of high-voltage DC power supply (9) with a polarity opposite to the polarity of the voltage of main high-voltage power supply (8).
EFFECT: improved mist dissipation performance.
