FIELD: performing operations.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for making steel structures, in particular, a device for controlling flows of heat carrier used in loop tubes for systems providing thermal conditions and thermal control of spacecraft. Welded structure consists of axially arranged thin-wall part in the form of bushing and thick-wall part in the form of cup with axial hole in the bottom. A rod is installed coaxially inside the welded parts. Parts are butt-jointed together with their fixation, rod is installed with provision of its sliding fit and subsequent ring connection of thick-wall and thin-wall parts by means of electron-beam welding. Electron beam with symmetric scanning is moved along the joint of parts during their rotation around longitudinal axis. Welding is performed at variation of energy input of electron beam with its different fractional distribution relative to butt of welded parts and its constant reduction from the beginning and to the end of part turn by linear dependence by pulse defocused or focused beam.
EFFECT: selection of optimum welding conditions enables to obtain a welded seam with high requirements for strength and tightness, to minimize welding deformations and to provide a constant gap between axially located parts and a rod installed coaxially inside them.
