SUBSTANCE: magnetic toner is proposed, which has a surface toner particle containing a binder resin and an ester compound as the release agent, an inorganic fine particle "a" and an organic-inorganic composite fine particle with a volume specific heat of 2900 kJ/(m3⋅°C) to 4200 kJ/(m3⋅°C), the degree of "A" toner particle surface coverng by inorganic fine particle "a" is 45.0% or more and 70.0% or less.
EFFECT: proposed toner provides good block resistance of printed paper and provides good stability and good durability, low-temperature fixing ability during high-speed printing.
