SUBSTANCE: method comprises intracisternal injecting of the drug at a dose of 10.0 ml to the affected udder part with 12-hourly intervals 2-4 times. Injectable preparation contains succinic acid, ph-2 ASD, iodine and potassium iodide, the polyvinyl alcohol and procaine at the following component ratio, wt %: Succinic acid 1.0, ASD ph-2 2.0, 0.1 iodine, potassium iodide 0.5, procaine 0.5 polyvinyl alcohol 1.0, purified water is the rest.
EFFECT: invention is highly effective for the treatment of mastitis in lactating cows.
