FIELD: veterinary science.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to veterinary science, particularly to veterinary obstetrics, namely to a method of treating subclinical mastitis in lactating cows. Method involves intracisternal introduction of reduced nanosilver solution containing reduced nanosilver and isotonic solution of sodium chloride in ratio of 1:4 – 1.0 ml of 1.0% solution of reduced nanosilver and 4.0 ml of sodium chloride solution, daily in a sick quarter of mammary gland in dose of 5.0 ml for 3–5 days in a row and transdermal application of balsam "Silver Aid" daily for 5 days.
EFFECT: invention provides reducing the length of treatment and increasing the effectiveness of the method of treating cows suffering from subclinical mastitis.
