FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: uniform ultrathin transplant with a thickness of 130 microns is formed. To do this, a low-energy high-frequency laser with a wavelength of 1030-1050 nm, pulse duration of 400 fs, operating at a frequency of 1 MHz, with a pulse energy of 0.6 mcJ for vertical and 0.1 mcJ for horizontal sections is used. The transplant is formed by the endothelial surface diameter of 8.2 mm with beveled lateral surfaces located at an angle of 27° to the endothelium surface.

EFFECT: method allows to achieve a safe, predictable and effective method of forming ultrathin donor corneal transplants of uniform thickness to improve the quality of prepared corneal disc and improve the clinical and functional results of posterior layered keratoplasty.
