METHOD OF PREPARING ULTRAFINE DONOR CORNEA TRANSPLANTS FOR POSTERIOR LAYER KERATOPLASTY FROM ENDOTHELIAL APPROACH USING HIGH-ENERGY FEMTOSECOND LASER Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A61F9/08

Abstract RU 2689884 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to ophthalmology. For preparing ultrafine donor cornea transplants for posterior layer keratoplasty from endothelial approach, high-energy femtosecond laser with flat appllanation interface operating at frequency 200 kHz is used, energy in pulse 0.8 mcJ, distance between pulses/rows - 8 mcm, which enables to minimize energy density on corneal surface area and time of contact of laser interface with endothelium with preservation of high quality of cut.

EFFECT: method enables forming an ultrathin uniform graft of 130 mcm, a strictly specified diameter, based on recipient's corneal parameters - from 6,0 to 9,5 mm.
