SUBSTANCE: versions of application of food roll stretch film with thickness from 10 to 20 microns as a means for arterial bleeding arresting are proposed. To stop arterial bleeding, a tourniquet is made from the film by roll unwinding and tape compression, which applied to the victim, and dense superimposition of film turns on the damaged limb is performed by unwinding. In case of a penetrating wound of the chest or neck and head, or around the burn, the roll is unwound, the film is tightly wrapped around for dressing and sealing. In case of fracture or dislocation, the roll is unwound and the film is wrapped by turns around the damage site for limb fixation and immobilization.

EFFECT: at simplicity and efficiency, the proposed use of the film can significantly shorten the first aid time, which allows, among other things, to increase the number of patients delivered to the hospital before the first hour after injury.
