SUBSTANCE: irrigation source comprises a container for storage of a certain amount of liquid; a port with fluid communication with the container, with an output end and a neck. The neck includes a plurality of protrusions which are selected from the plurality of identifying protrusions representing a unique container ID. The equalizing element and the peak port are arranged on the neck and positioned to form an annular gap therebetween for retaining device reception, so that the plurality of identifying protrusions are aligned with the shooting device. The irrigation source identification system is disclosed, comprising: an irrigation source, a leveling element and a peak port. The shooting device is placed next to the irrigation source neck. The processor is connected to the shooting device, receiving the images of the irrigation source neck and plurality of identifying protrusions, and determining image compliance with the identifier.

EFFECT: inventions provide automated detection of differences between the irrigation fluid sources.
