FIELD: lighting.

SUBSTANCE: lighting system comprises a plurality of light sources and a remote control unit. The remote control unit comprises a user interface through which a user may identify the section in the image and the light source. The identified area of the image is attached to the light source, and the colour information of the identified image section is transmitted to the light source. Thereby, it is possible to adapt the emitted light of the light source to the colour information and select the colour outputted by the light source by selecting a section of the image displayed on the remote control unit. The remote control unit can be a part of a mobile phone, a tablet computer, an electronic photo frame or television screen.

EFFECT: creation of a remote control unit and control method of light sources plurality that require less time and are more versatile and scalable.
