FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, oncology and aims at treating recurrent non-small cell lung cancer (NSLC). The treatment involves a beam therapy (BT) combined with a chemotherapy (CT). The BT having a total boost dose of no more than 64 Gy is conducted 5 days a week for 5 weeks: first, a single boost dose of 3.0 Gy× once a day to the total boost dose of no more than 40 Gy, and then the single boost dose of 1.2 Gy× twice a day. Herewith, 2.5 hours before the irradiation, 10 45-minute sessions of a hyperthermia are performed 2 times a day at temperature 42-44°C. The chemotherapy follows: on the 1st and 8th days of the irradiation - gemcitabine 1000 mg/m2, on the 1st day - cysplatine 70 mg/m2, within the two cycles every 2 weeks.
EFFECT: method improves a survival rate in the patients suffering recurrent NSLC by increasing the loco-regional control, preventing remote metastases and reducing a rate thereof.
