FIELD: machine engineering.

SUBSTANCE: plate, configured to contact with the sheet, comprises the first area and the second area. The features of the plate areas are different to each other. The plate has a substantially curved wall with an inner surface and an outer surface. A plurality of vacuum holes extends between the inner and outer surfaces. The holes are adapted to stay in communication with the vacuum source through the fluid medium. At least, one vacuum area is adapted to contact the first sheet area. At least, one area of the reduced vacuum is adapted to receive the second sheet area. The plurality of the vacuum holes is configured so that when they are connected to the vacuum source, the vacuum in, at least, one vacuum area is greater than the vacuum in, at least, one area of the reduced vacuum.

EFFECT: vacuum drum operation is improved, when cutting and transportating segments of the heterogeneous recieving sheets.
