FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: to assess the threat of placental insufficiency formation due to the damaging effect of cytomegalovirus infection on the total cholesterol content in the third trimester of gestation, the titer of G class antibodies to cytomegalovirus is determined in peripheral blood together with the spectrophotometric determination of cholesterol content in the peripheral blood and the enzyme immunoassay for estradiol; if the titer of G class antibodies to cytomegalovirus is 1:1600, the total cholesterol is decreased to 5,70±0,005 pmol/l, estradiol is decreased to 14892,3±503,0 pmol/l, a threat of placental insufficiency formation is created.
EFFECT: method allows to assess the risk of placental insufficiency formation, at simplicity of its execution.
