FIELD: medicine, obstetrics.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to predict miscarriage in the first trimester during exacerbation of cytomegalovirus infection. The concentration of VEGF-A in ng/ml and PG F2α is determined by the method of enzyme immunoassay in the peripheral blood of women in pg/ml. Then the threat of miscarriage is predicted by comparing the prognostic index PI, calculated by the following formula: P=-231.377 + 13.694×VEGF-A+0.052× PG F2α, with a limit value of -32.92. When PI is equal to or greater than the limit value, the presence of a threat of miscarriage in the first trimester is predicted with an exacerbation of cytomegalovirus infection. When PI is less than the boundary value, the absence of a threat of miscarriage in the first trimester is predicted with an exacerbation of cytomegalovirus infection.
EFFECT: method provides the possibility of increasing the accuracy of predicting miscarriage during an exacerbation of cytomegalovirus infection in the first trimester by determining the concentrations of VEGF-A and PG F2 in the peripheral bloodα and calculating the predictive index by a mathematical formula developed using the discriminant analysis method.
