FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to laboratory diagnostics, and can be used for assessing risk of disturbed foetoplacental system formation and foetal development in period of gestation with reduction of amount of oestradiol in connection with reduction of content of androstenedione in placental plasmodiotrophoblast accompanying aggravated cytomegalovirus infection in third trimester of pregnancy. For this purpose, method includes determining in peripheral blood a cytomegalovirus antibody titre, conducting histochemical reaction on androstenedione dehydrogenase in placental plasmodiotrophoblast of villi of woman in labour, measuring amount of oestradiol in placental homogenate, and if class G antibody titre to cytomegalovirus is 1:1,600, reduction of activity of reaction on androstenedione dehydrogenase to 32.1±2.88 standard units, reduction of content of oestradiol in placenta to 18,443.2±117.53 pmol/l, threat of disturbance of foetoplacental system formation and foetal development in period of gestation is determined.
EFFECT: method enables to assess risk of disturbance of foetoplacental system formation and foetal development with easy implementation thereof.
